Director: Andrew Dosunmu

Official Selection for the 2011 Sundance Film Festival – Opening Night Film

Shot in New York, “Restless City” is the story of an African immigrant living on the fringes of American society in search of realising his dreams. When he falls in love with a beautiful prostitute, Djibril’s life becomes extremely complicated. Beautifully shot, and showing a side of New York rarely seen on the screen, Restless City is a striking film with an African take on the notion of the American Dream.
